Yes, you have a few options. By high speed train, you can get to the Alsace region of France in about 3 hours, which is beautiful all year round. Normandy is a popular place to visit from France that typically takes 2 to 3 days (we have not done this yet). Another option is Lyon, which is just 2 hours away by train, and you can use this as a home base to also day trip to Lake Annecy. Cheers, Julie
